I can’t believe that I actually have to spell this out but…
the appropriate answer to a bisexual woman telling you that she has a boyfriend is NOT “so are you sure you belong in the LGBT community?”
“Whenever a bisexual girl tells me that she has a boyfriend I immediately assume that he is an awesome dude. Because she could date women but she chose a man. So this man has to be great”.
This is it. This is an appropriate reaction. I can’t believe I’ve lived to experience this perfect reaction firsthand. This gave me hope again.
